The Politecnico di Milano University in Italy is inviting applications for its 40th cycle of PhD programs. Each PhD program has a certain number of positions available, along with scholarships. To start a program, there must be at least three students enrolled. Both Italian and foreign students, including stateless individuals, can apply.
Selection for admission will be based on applicants’ academic backgrounds, motivation letters, and proposed research projects. These documents should be submitted with the application in PDF format. The PhD programs last for three years.

Stipend Amount
The salary for the position is determined in according to the research project. Typically, starting doctoral researchers receive a monthly salary of approximately € 1300 or more according to project.

English Language Requirements
IELTS/TOEFL not required
Applicants who have completed their academic qualifications at an institution where the courses were taught in English are not required to certify their knowledge of English. In this case, candidates required to submit English Proficiency Certificate from your academic institute.

Selection Criteria
The eligibility of applicants for admission to their selected PhD program depends on how well they match the research areas and their interest in scientific research. The evaluation will be carried out on the basis of their academic background and documents outlining their potential research projects according to PhD program they’re applying for. These documents should be submitted along with the application.
Note: The Selection Committee has 100 points to assess each application.
Curriculum: up to 45 points
Research project in the areas of the PhD program: up to 55 points

For each application submitted a non-refundable contribution of € 25.82 is due and it is payable by 30/05/2024 at the latest.
